MISCA is the first and only minimally invasive veterinary center of its kind.

Two specialists, an internist and a surgeon, started the practice to provide three unique offerings within the specialty domain:

  • An innovative, minimally invasive approach to diagnosis and treatment of small animal veterinary patients
  • Team-oriented collaboration that involves clients, staff and referring veterinarians in the patient care plan
  • A uniquely cohesive and supportive work environment for veterinary staff

We are a tight-knit family of veterinary medical professionals that loves to work and play together.

Full-time employees receive ample benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, 401k, PTO and a robust pet care discount. Part time employment will be considered as well.

Our caseload primarily involves patients requiring endoscopy-guided, fluoroscopic and/or surgical procedures for definitive diagnosis and therapy. Staging for our innovative procedures commonly involves a combination of laboratory analysis, radiography and diagnostic ultrasound. The internal medicine team works closely with the soft tissue surgery team to plan and execute advanced procedures such as cystoscopy-guided laser ablation, endoscopic stent placement, percutaneous cystolithotomy, and percutaneous transvenous coil embolization of portosystemic shunts.

Each member of the MISCA team solves problems both independently and collaboratively. We care deeply about our patients, MISCA and each other. We start each day with a team breakfast and case rounds, where we plan and coordinate care for every patient we will encounter during the day.

Participation in team activities such as jigsaw puzzling, ping pong, Trivia night, cooking competitions, game nights, picnics and birthday parties is encouraged but completely optional!
