Melissa

Melissa has been a certified veterinary surgical technician for 14 years. She is passionate about anesthesia and analgesia and always strives to do what’s best for each individual patient’s needs. Melissa studied veterinary technology at The Bel-Rea Institute in Denver, Colorado and graduated in 2007. This is where she met and married her husband Adam. They moved back to Melissa’s hometown of Portland, OR in 2012 where she would meet and begin working with Dr. Gretchen Kuchenmeister. Melissa and Adam have two daughters together, Paige and Hannah. They also have two cats, Khai and Tiber, and an Australian cattle dog mix, Greta. When Melissa is not working, she spends most of her time being a mom but also enjoys painting, cooking and reading.
